Gerard cosmetics send over a box of lipsticks for my review and I thought I would share my opinions on these lipsticks that are so popular all over social media. Here we go!
Price: $19.00! These lipsticks are overpriced in my opinion because comparable brands (but more mainstream, high end brands like MAC) don’t charge $19 for a lipstick. I would highly recommend running a quick google search for Gerard Cosmetics coupons before making any purchases as there are tons out there.
Packaging: All over gold tube with Gerard Cosmetics logo, which I actually really like. It looks super lux!
Formula: Some of these are very matte (Vintage Rose and 1995) and some have a more satin finish (Underground, French Roast and Rodeo Drive). All of these feel extremely comfortable on the lips and have a 3-4 hour wear time. These also wear off really well never patchy, dry or cracked.
Overall: I do like these lipsticks by Gerard cosmetics. They are pigmented, pretty and the formula is great. The major call out I have with these lipsticks is the actual $19 price tag. Lucky for us all, there are a ton of great coupons which will give you % off your total. My favorite colors of the bunch will have to be 1995 and Rodeo Drive. They are so complimentary on my skin tone.
Breakdown of colors:
1) Vintage Rose: Cool toned pink. It only works for me when I pair it with a warm lip liner.
2) Underground: Trendy and unique. Not my personal favorite but I know many people love this shade!
3) French Roast: Warm brown/nude shade with a satin finish.
4) Rodeo Drive: Gorgeous creamy, wearable pink.
5) 1995: Perfect everyday shade for my skin tone! This is my #1 favorite!
