I finally got rid of my gel nails and starting to sport my natural nails which I missed SO much! Gel nails are great for vacations/special occasions but I don’t really think they work for me for daily wear. They damaged my nails so much that they feel like paper 
I also still have a ton of the “gel” polish left on my real nails but it’s slowly growing out as my real nails grow.
I was going through my “unused makeup” stash and found this Essence Gel nail polish in the shade “Rock my world” which is a gorgeous grey and so appropriate for this season. It retails for $1.99 and available in over 15 shades. I really love the formula of this nailpolish because it is thick without being “goopy” and super long lasting. I still use this nailpolish with a base and top coat and get a good 5-6 days without any chipping at all. It is different than a traditional nailpolish because it almost feels like a layer on top of your nails (and I mean this in a very good way!), whereas a traditional nailpolish almost becomes part of your nails, hence causing it to chip.
I love how innovative the nailpolish industry is becoming and cannot wait to see the next big thing! Gel polishes are my newest obsession!
