Hey guys! I am so sorry for the lack of posts on my blog, I have actually been traveling recently and had limited access to my computer but I am back and ready to share a lot more outfit shots, product reviews and so much more!
Let’s start off with talking about my favorite foundations. If you guys follow me on YouTube, you may have watched my recent video featuring my most favorite foundations, but I thought I would break it down a bit further in case you guys were looking to pick up these foundations. Before I talk about each specific product, I do want to mention that I have very dry skin, but prefer matte foundations that are extremely long lasting. I don’t like to reapply or touch up my makeup too much throughout the day, so products that are long lasting is key for me.
1) MAC ‘Face and Body’ in C6
I have used this MAC face and body foundation for years! It is my go to foundation in the summer time because it is so lightweight, feels like skin and super long lasting. I also love the fact that this foundation is super buildable, so if you want sheer coverage, you can get that but if you want full coverage you can achieve that as well.
2) Loreal Infallible in ‘Caramel beige’
This is my go to foundation when I want my makeup to last all day long without every having to worry about major touch ups. The loreal infallible is super thick, and can feel drying on the skin, so be sure to moisturize well before applying, but it is such a great full coverage foundation that is very comparable to high end products.
3) NARS ‘All day luminous weightless’ in Syracuse
If you want to splurge on a long wearing, skin-like foundation that you will have for a long time, I highly recommend the NARS All day luminous, weightless foundation. This foundation gives the skin such a beautiful, satin finish and although it is full coverage, it looks so natural on the skin. Love this!
4) MAC Prolongwear foundation in ‘NC42’
One of my oldest and most repurchased foundations is the MAC Prolongwear, which I have been using since it first launched at MAC. Although it looks very yellow when you initially apply it on the skin, but blends in beautifully. It is full coverage, so a little bit of product goes a long way and one pump is enough to cover my entire face.
5) Estee Lauder ‘Double wear stay in place’ makeup in ‘Honey Bronze’
All of the hype about the Estee Lauder Double wear foundation is completely true. This is one of the nicest foundations I have ever used because it is long lasting, natural, feels light and does not reflect back with flash. This foundation isn’t cheap ($38!), but one pump will go a long way and I have had mine for over a year and I am not even half way through the bottle! Highly recommend!
